Why spirulina? Because we are firmly convinced that microalgae will play a decisive role in the population's diet. But it's not just about eating healthily, it's also about eating sustainably.

Why our spirulina farm is good for the environment:

  • Less space required: Compared to conventional agricultural cultivation areas for spirulina and other (micro)algae, our spirulina farms only need the space on your windowsill. This means that land that would actually be used for spirulina can be used for other purposes.
  • Efficient water consumption: The water consumption of our farms is very efficient because the water, including the spirulina culture, can be reused after the harvest instead of being poured away and then refilled.
  • Natural air purifiers: With their ability to perform oxygenic photosynthesis, spirulina store CO2 and produce O2. This easily improves the air in your room.
