Spirulina Guacamole with tomato and cilantro
Avocado already knows green. Fresh spirulina makes it a little deeper and blends mildly with lime, tomato, and cilantro. A dip that fits on every table.
Salty · 10 minutes · 1 bowl for 2 to 4 people
Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 lime
- ½ small red onion
- 1 tomato
- a few sprigs of cilantro or parsley
- 1 to 2 tsp freshly harvested spirulina
- Salt, pepper, and a pinch of chili
- Tortilla chips for dipping
Preparation
- Halve the avocados, put the flesh into a bowl, and mash roughly with a fork.
- Stir in the lime juice and spirulina well.
- Finely chop the onion, tomato, and herbs and add them in.
- Season to taste with salt, pepper, and chili.
- Serve with a little tomato and cilantro on top.
Tip
The guacamole also goes well on bread with egg or in a bowl. A little lime juice on top keeps the color fresh; best eaten immediately.
